Rev. Craig Schultz brings a rich, full, productive and diverse ministry experience to St. John. Since March 1975, he has pastored congregations in Indiana, Michigan, Nebraska and North Carolina. During those tenures he has
experienced God's grace at work in many remarkable, expected and unexpected ways. Foremost his ministry
has been about uniting people at the cross of Jesus Christ through the power of the Gospel and the working of
the Holy Spirit. He is a certified and credential Intentional Interim Minister and has so far been involved in
three part time Intentional Interim situations. He also worked for 16 years as a consultant with PathWay Lutheran
Ministries, an organization which specialized in spiritual growth and stewardship renewal for churches
and schools. In addition, he was a teacher/mentor for the Lay Ministry program offered through Concordia
University in Mequon, Wisconsin.
Pastor Schultz has a passion for teaching God's Word and a desire that everyone of God's people be involved
in the study of that Word. He intends to bring that passion desire to St. John along with the goal of helping us
continue to grow into the genuine body of Christ as we reach out with the love and hope of Christ to our community.
He and his wife Martha are excited about partnering with us during the next twelve months and are looking
forward to what the Lord of the church might accomplish through us working together.
